I am so surprised that a “Hatchet Blog” not only scooped the GW News Center, but the Hatchet student newspaper, as well, as an “update”.

One question is with the “endowment” recently reaching a record One Billion $ mark, why was there a need for the Board of Trustees to raise tuition at GW to the highest level found in the country? Is this a distinction tht the University really wants?

  2. Run-Off Observer says:

I would rather have that distinction and have the school continue to perform well. In addition the tuition is fixed so it actually isn’t the highest in the country when you spread it out over 4 years.

  3. Abby says:

In speaking about the tuition being the highest in the country, I was speaking of the here and now, March 2007.

Question: How do you know GWU is performing well? It would be a grave mistake to equate quantity [$] with quality!
