Hi DB-
The leads that appear are selected by myself, the web editor, with the help of my production team. The teasers are usually one of the first few paragraphs of the article, or a splicing thereof. We're normally working rather fast (and incredibly late at night), but I'll make an extra push to make sure our summaries more accurately reflect our content.

If you have any other issues, please don't hesitate to contact me at web@gwhatchet.com. If you'd like, I'd appreciate it if you could send me some of our, um, not-so-good summaries. Thanks!

Jake, please change the RSS feed for the newspaper, if you have any control over it. Not all the leads that appear there give the proper impression of the content. A short summary of the article would be great.
