Hatchet elects Weinberg next editor in chief

The Hatchet staff elected junior Cory Weinberg its next editor in chief Monday night.

Weinberg, who joined the staff as a designer his freshman year before ascending to his current post as campus news editor, will lead The Hatchet through its 110th volume. He is double majoring in economics and journalism & mass communication.

The Tequesta, Fla. native is also a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and has covered academics, research and finance. His byline has appeared on news, features and sports stories and photos.

Pending approval by The Hatchet’s Board of Directors, Weinberg’s term will begin in May.
