Welcome back to GW! The Hatchet’s staff has been hard at work since Monday putting together the annual Welcome Back edition. This 28-page issue – our largest in almost a year - features articles about medical marijuana at GW, Fall Fest and sex offenders living and working near campus.
In the official Welcome Back Guide, our special issues editor Hadley, compiled fun lists and to-do’s for students of all class years. If you’re an upperclassman missing those carefree freshman nights, check out the hook-up do’s and don’ts list.
Looking forward to Monday’s issue and beyond, The Hatchet is looking for regular food and sex columnists for the life section. Our witty new Belle will party at local bars across the District so GW students will always know where the best times can be had.
You may notice that The Hatchet looks a little different today. Our production manager Rachel, built upon the redesign The Hatchet unveiled last year. We were feeling nostalgic and went back to the traditional Hatchet flag. We also redesigned page 2 to better highlight the multimedia we plan on producing this year.
