A group of students launched a satirical effort to get the University to sign Charlie Sheen as Commencement speaker.
Commencement for the Class of 2012 may be more than a year away, but a group of determined students are already on the hunt for a speaker.
Their choice? Embattled actor Charlie Sheen.
Sheen is caught up in scandal after his recent erratic behavior, trashing the creators of “Two and a Half Men” – the show he’s on now – and saying egotistical things in interviews.
The group has nearly 100 members thus far, but is clearly a satirical ploy.
