Jetties – the favorite sandwich shop of Mount Vernon residents – will hold its grand opening on Foggy Bottom Wednesday with deals for students.
The first 23 GWorld customers to buy a salad or sandwich will get a second for free. All GW customers will receive a free fountain drink with their sandwich or salad. Jetties, which had its soft opening last week, accepts GWorld.
The new spot at the corner of 20th and I streets is the third D.C. location for Nantucket-based shop. It’s also located a few blocks from the Mount Vernon Campus on Foxhall Road.
Be sure to try the Thanksgiving sandwich, the Nobdadeer, which is served with carved turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
Jetties is about a half mile from Mt. Vernon Campus. That’s more than “a few blocks”.
