With two weeks left until spring break and midterms on the horizon, make sure to take some time to relax and detox from the daily stresses of student life.

- Take a break from studying to hear professor Thomas Mallon, director of the creative writing program, discuss his acclaimed novel “Watergate” at the Arts Club of Washington on Tuesday.

- Need a vacation ASAP? Transport yourself to Europe by checking out Michelangelo’s David-Apollo, on display at the National Gallery of Art. The famous statue is on loan from the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence, Italy, until March 3.

- And if you’re itching for a theatrical fill, make sure to check out Washingtonian’s February guide to plays, musicals and other stagings to see before the month ends.
