GW graduate Pops Mensah-Bonsu became the only Colonial with a NBA contract when he signed a deal with the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday.
The 6-foot-9 forward signed a one-year contract, pending a league-mandated physical, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Mensah-Bonsu was not drafted in the NBA’s June draft but had an impressive showing in the Mavericks’ summer league.
Mensah-Bonsu could not be reached for comment late Tuesday night.
