No. 22/20 GW’s women’s basketball team (10-3) beat the 5-6 Pepperdine Waves 82-68 Sunday at Smith Center. Jessica Adair dominated down-low throughout, scoring 25 points after missing the team’s last game (a Dec. 20 win over Texas A&M) with a concussion.
The team’s 69 percent shooting percentage was its highest this year, as were its 47 first-half points. All five GW starters scored in double figures.
The Colonials next play Jan. 3 at No. 15 Auburn.
