On Monday, the Dallas Morning News reported in its “recruiting buzz blog” that Matt Allbritton has verbally committed to play for the GW men’s basketball team next season. Allbritton is currently a senior at Garland Christian Academy in Garland, Texas.
Listed as a 6-foot-4 guard/forward, the blog said Allbritton averaged over 20 points and six rebounds per game this season. He also appears to be a sharpshooter from outside, hitting 96 three-pointers last year, according to the Dallas Morning News.
