A few hours ago, a rumor was posted on gwhoops.com that freshman Xavier Alexander had transferred to Chadron State College in Nebraska.
I just spoke with their athletic director, Brad Smith, and a Chadron State assistant coach, and neither were aware of any transfer.

The person responsible for the comment attends a Montgomery County High School and had nothing better to do but make up lies. This person (I am not going to name him) showed me his comment and it is 100% false. Sorry about this kid being immature. Anyways, it is a bit funny that you believed him. Its like the people whom believed the link on GWhoops.com that said Wesley Witherspoon commits to GW.

Must admit that I was at the airport when I heard about this and called Chadron State without reading the actual post–I just heard a paraphrase of it.
Got a chance to read it this morning, and agreed, it doesn’t seem realistic at all. Didn’t allow him to carry a gun on campus? Yikes.
