Posted by Alexa Millinger
D.C. emergency personnel responded to a bomb threat that was called in at around 10:30 this morning near the intersection of K and 24th Streets. The threat involved several paint cans found in the tunnel on K Street next to City Hall, a Metropolitan Police officer on the scene said. The D.C. Fire Department blocked off the street until the bomb squad arrived on the scene, investigated and cleared it as safe about an hour later.
