La Prima in 2000 Penn closed

Posted by Alexa Millinger

Anyone who has walked through 2000 Penn this week may have noticed that La Prima, the carryout and catering restaurant next to Au Bon Pain, is now closed. The desolate, former restuarant now has a sign up informing patrons of their closure and other locations in the D.C. area. GW’s Executive Vice President and Treasurer, Lou Katz, said he has known about the restaurant’s impending closure for some time and that the University- who owns the property- is working with prospective tenants to take over the location. “There are a number of food venues that are interested in the site,” Katz said.

Oh my god. La Prima made the best, cheapest sandwich I’ve ever had. This is a very, very sad day. ABP is terrible

I used to enjoy their sandwiches when I worked at 2000 Penn. Much better food quality and service than at ABP.
