Conservative politicians to visit campus for conference

High-profile GOP speakers will come to campus this week for the six-day National Conservative Student Conference.

Among the 23 speakers at the annual conference, from July 30 to Aug. 4, are Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. and Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Penn.

The event will be hosted by the conservative Young America’s Foundation at GW for the 11th year. More than 200 students are expected to attend.
