Guiffre: Moving beyond “shamnesty”

Junior Justin Guiffre, The Hatchet’s opinions editor, concludes his three part series on GW’s Medical Amnesty policy, describing the good and bad of this years policy changes, and the framework for a new policy.

The purpose of a medical amnesty policy is clear. It is intended to remove the fear of calling emergency services during a potentially life-threatening situation. In this regard, however, GW’s amnesty policy is failing miserably and dangerously.

Well thought out and supported with consistant and rational thinking.
    Well done!

  2. Missing Laura says:

Is this what happened to Laura. Those with Laura that night, did not call for help because they were afraid of getting into some trouble themselves. What a shame. Someone’s life should be the most important thing.
