Obviously this person does not know what they are talking about. Gelman needs attention and the students of GW know that. DC public schools are not our responsibility and if a minority of the students at GW want to help the public schools than they can work towards that after graduation. While students are still at GW, they should be focused on fixing their on school.

Gelman needs changes. Fast. Without updating our library, and improving it to be on the same level as our university, we are hindering our chance at elevating our university into the competitive school we want it to be. The author of the 11/18/10 Letter to the Editor calling for Gelman funds to be allocated elsewhere needs a reality check. Walk around Gelman and recognize that our library is shaming our school.

Who ever wrote that article bashing this one needs a real reality check. WAKE UP! Gelman needs to be renovated. If the University gave my tuition money to the GW public schools, I’d be pretty upset. What a tool!

I have to agree 100%! Gelman is just a horrible place to be and seems the University is doing nothing about it. Actions speak louder than words!
